Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FounderHub. By accessing the service, creating an account, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. About the service

FounderHub lets founders create public profiles, showcase projects, and discover other builders. FounderHub V1 is free. There are no subscriptions, payment processing, paid placements, or guarantees that any profile will receive a particular level of visibility.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms. If you are not the age of legal majority where you live, you may use FounderHub only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian where applicable. Sign in using a Google account you are authorized to use, provide accurate information, and protect access to that account. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with a project or business. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Profiles and publication

You choose the profile and project information you submit. Selecting Publish makes your profile and projects publicly accessible. Saved changes to a published profile take effect publicly. Your username becomes permanent after first publication.

Only submit information you are comfortable sharing. Uploaded photos and logos have public URLs, even while a profile is a private draft. Public information may be indexed, copied, cached, or shared by others; FounderHub cannot remove copies held independently by other people, websites, search engines, or social platforms.

5. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit and publish any text, photos, logos, links, and other material you provide.

You give FounderHub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute your content only as needed to operate, secure, and promote the service, including through directory cards, public profiles, sitemaps, and social-sharing images. This licence includes processing by service providers acting for FounderHub and does not transfer ownership of your content.

When content is removed, this licence ends for future public display, except to the limited extent reasonably necessary for backups, security, legal compliance, or copies already made by independent third parties, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not publish unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, or rights-infringing content.
• Do not disclose someone else’s confidential or personal information without authorization.
• Do not use misleading project claims, fabricated revenue, spam, malicious links, or impersonation.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass ownership controls, introduce malware, or disrupt the service.
• Do not use automated access in a way that overloads the service or circumvents technical restrictions.

7. User claims and external services

Profile details, project claims, and revenue figures are supplied by users and are not independently verified by FounderHub. Inclusion does not constitute endorsement, certification, or a guarantee. Revenue figures are informational and are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

External websites, Google sign-in, and social-sharing services have their own terms and privacy practices. FounderHub is not responsible for external content, products, transactions, or dealings between users and listed founders or projects.

8. Moderation and account restrictions

We may investigate reports, remove content, limit features, suspend access, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to address violations of these Terms, security risks, unlawful conduct, harm to users or the service, or legal requirements. Where practical and legally permitted, we will provide an explanation and a way to contact us about the decision.

9. Account deletion

You may stop using FounderHub at any time. You can permanently delete your account from the account page by completing the displayed confirmation. Successful deletion removes your active authentication account, profile, projects, revenue records, and uploaded images. Provider backups, technical logs, aggregate analytics, and copies independently retained by third parties may remain as explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. FounderHub intellectual property

FounderHub and its interface, branding, design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of FounderHub or permission to copy, modify, sell, or exploit the service except as allowed by law. This section does not apply to content that you own and submit to FounderHub.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep FounderHub useful and available, but uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Keep your own copies of important content. We may modify features, impose reasonable technical limits, or suspend or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FounderHub is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or accuracy. We do not guarantee user identities, project claims, revenue figures, external links, search visibility, traffic, business results, or interactions between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FounderHub will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunities, or business interruption arising from the service. FounderHub’s total aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed RM100. These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and they do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.

14. Your responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims, and reasonable costs arising from content you submit, your unlawful use of FounderHub, or your material violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how account, profile, project, analytics, and technical information is handled, including the services used to operate FounderHub.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of agreement.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Malaysia will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or FounderHub, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. This does not restrict any right to seek a remedy through a court, regulator, or consumer-protection body available under applicable law.

18. General terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a reorganization, transfer of the service, or operation by a successor, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and FounderHub regarding the service.
